Daniel Hernandez

It is with much sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of a great man, Daniel Hernandez. He was a loving father, a wonderful husband, and a very compassionate person. The most kind-hearted of souls, he always welcomed everyone with his signature smile. A gifted carpenter, he loved to build things with his hands, and enjoyed being able to help people.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Hope Hernandez, whom he loved dearly; his children, Daniel and Jackie Hernandez, and Joanna and Eddie Merrill; and six grandchildren, Avery, Jayce, Luke, Noah, Claire, and Ava. He leaves behind his brothers and friends, Roman Canales, Waldo Canales, and Servando Canales Jr.; and his loving and caring sisters, Irene Canales, Desideria Hinojosa, Delia Cruz, Linda Garcia, and Betty Valadez. He also ascends into heaven before many nieces and nephews that were so dear to him and countless other friends and family members that meant so much to him.

A Rosary will be held at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 7:00 pm. Services will be held at St, Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Paducah, TX on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 11:00 am.
