Francisco "Frank" Sigala was born September 25, 1928, and died January 12, 2009 at the age of 80 at his home in Kalgary. Graveside services will be 1:30pm, Saturday, January 17 at Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home.
Frank had been with the Winkler Family for 35 Years. He came to the farm to work, and soon became, very much a part of the family. Among Frank's many responsibilities, was to care for the animals, in which he took much pride. He often did not appreciate anyone's help, as no one could meet his approval. Frank had his own unique way of doing things. A person could look for a tool or spare part all day, with no luck. Everyone soon found out, Frank almost always knew exactly where to find anything on the farm, or how to make something work.
Frank came to the Winkler's farm with special needs, but his contribution to the family and lessons he brought, will never be forgotten. He will be fondly remembered as Uncle Frank.
Frank was preceded in death by Boney Winkler, Doylene Winkler, & Laci McCLoy.
He will be truly missed by his extended family
Carla Williamson of Lubbock, Monte and Nan McCloy of Sofia New Mexico, Tye Williamson of Lubbock, Matt, Ingrid, Miles, & Mason McCloy of Stephenville, and his most recent caregivers, Clint, Amber, Hadley, & Sara McCloy of Kalgary.
