Jacqueline “Jackie” Lee Vincent (Vandecar) was born in Santa Rosa, California on August 20, 1943.  She was married to Harold “Sonny” Vandecar in Reno, Nevada on October 12, 1959.  She moved to Paducah, Texas with her husband and daughters in 1976.  There she remained until January, 2016, at which time she moved to Aztec, New Mexico due to illness to live with her eldest daughter, Lori Gomez.  While living in Paducah, Jackie was a vibrant member of the community.  She worked and managed the Dairy Queen restaurant from 1976-1981. She then went to work at the local drive- in/restaurant, the Dixie Maid from 1981-2016, which was owned and operated by relatives of Sonny and Jackie.  There she was a loyal and dedicated employee and a truly kind and considerate person to all who crossed her path.  She was never short of a smile and a kind word.

Jackie joined the Lord on March 4, 2019 while a patient at the San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, New Mexico.  She was seventy-five (75) years of age.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Benjamin and Ruby May Vincent, her husband, Harold “Sonny” Gene Vandecar, her sister, Leilani R. Forney and brother, Ashley “Butch” Vincent.

Jackie is survived by her daughters, Lori Lynn Gomez of Aztec, New Mexico and Vicki Lee Smolko of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, married to Samuel Martin Smolko.  She left behind five (5) grandchildren, Jennifer Lee Wilkerson, James Anthony Wilkerson, married to Mary “Elise” Elizabeth Wilkerson, Amber LeAnn Lopez, Ashley Jacqueline Lopez and April Lynn Gomez as well as five (5) great-grandchildren.  They are Caleb Anthony Markle, Alexander “Xane” Lee Markle, Rebecca Lynn Garrett, Kanon Levi Killian and Easton Maverick Taylor.

A funeral service for Jackie was held at 3:00pm on March 8, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Paducah, Texas, officiated by Pastor David Williams.  A graveside service immediately followed at the Garden of Memories Cemetery also in Paducah, Texas where she was peacefully laid to rest beside her husband, Harold “Sonny” Vandecar.  Her pall bearers were:  Ronnie Manley, Ronnie Wilkerson, Samuel Smolko, James Wilkerson, Caleb Markle and Alexander “Xane”  Markle.

Jacqueline “Jackie” Vandecar will be sadly missed not only by her loved ones, but by all who knew her.  She was a truly loving and caring individual who never failed to surprise with her unending wit and humor.  She maintained a rare and priceless pleasant and generous demeanor. She was and always will be loved very very much!
