James "Jim" Dirk Buckner

James “Jim” Buckner, 63, of Wink, TX passed on April 22nd after a short illness with cancer. Jim was born September 25, 1955 to Jimmy and Lola Buckner in Hyannis, NE

He loved his family, the rodeo, driving trucks, his dogs and most of all God.

He is survived by his wife Pam Buckner of Wink, TX;  son,  Dirk Buckner (Cassie) of Paducah Texas ; two granddaughters, Ava and Alivia; step son, Shaun Powell of Amarillo, Texas ;  step daughter,  Brandy Ellis (Delbert)  of Wink, Texas; Two grandsons, Grayson and Clayton ; His Mother,  Lola Buckner and step father Bruce of Thermopolis, WY;  Two brothers,  Robert (Monica), of Thermopolis WY, Wayne of Alliance, Nebraska;  sister , Mary Jo of Thermopolis WY,  and oodles of nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Eugene Buckner and sister, Patsy Endicott.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday April 29, 2019 at the Spur Memorial Cemetery Chapel, Spur, TX with interment following the services.
