Juan Lara Pecina Jr., 69, of Spur, TX passed away December 17, 2018. Juan was born May 5, 1949 to Juan Pecina Sr. and Natalie Pecina in Spur, TX.

Juan was a carpenter & welder. He loved his family and loved to dance. He was married to the love of his life Nancy for 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his father Juan Pecina Sr, brothers; Margarito, Toby, and Tino; sister; Caroline.

Juan is survived by his wife Nancy Ramirez Pecina, mother; Natalie Pecina, Five sons; John Pecina III of Lubbock, TX, Margarito Pecina of Lubbock, TX, Fabian Pecina of Spur, TX, Larry Pecina of Victoria, TX and Tino Pecina of Odessa, TX, Three daughters; Senaida Ashmore of Odessa, TX, Ermalinda Jones of Round Rock, TX and Juanita Alvarez of Victoria, TX, Three brothers; Reyes of Spur, TX, Fidel of Spur, TX and Pete of California, Four sisters; Dolores of Lubbock, TX, Flora of Lubbock, TX, Florinda of Spur, TX, and Natalia of Dallas, TX, Twenty-four Grandchildren and Twenty-six Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday December 20, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spur, TX followed by interment at Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home.
