on January 22, 1947 in Paducah, Texas to her father, J.D. Ballard and Jewel McGon.
Melba is survived by her husband Jack Allen of Texas; sons, Tommy Miller and wife Cheryl of Oklahoma
& Donnie Allen Jr., of Oklahoma; daughters Patty Lair and husband Jim of Oklahoma & Connie Reynolds
and husband, James of Texas; brothers, Alive Roy Ballard of Texas & Jimmy Ballard; twenty-four
grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren & two great-great grandchildren.
Melba is preceded in death by her father, J.D. Ballard; mother, Jewel McGon; sisters, Vernna May
Armstrong and Elizabeth McGon.
