Sharon Rose London Willingham was born January 28, 1942 and passed away on October 29, 2018. She was born in Spur Texas to Floyd and Bessie London. She was proceeded in death by her brother William (Bill) London and sister Joan London Smith. Sharon is survived by her children Bill Willingham and JoAnn Willingham Beane. She has three granddaughters Christy Deverell, Amanda Selman and Ashley Willingham. She has three great granddaughters Isabel, Mikayla and Haylee.
Floyd and Bessie London were school teachers in Spur. Floyd went on to wheat farming and a custom harvesting traveling from Texas to Montana each year with his wife and children. She moved with her Mom to Colorado in her teens. Sharon married and had children and lived in Aurora Colorado and then Castle Rock Colorado. She was a home maker, realtor and invested in many properties. She volunteered with Child Evangelism and was dedicated to spreading God’s word. She moved back to Texas in 1999 and her sister also relocated around the same time. She first bought a farmhouse in Girard and took care of her Father who moved in with her until he passed away. She then moved to Jayton where she discovered many feral cats that she felt needed her help. She was a kind and passionate woman who believed every life was precious. Sharon loved her God and Family immensely and will be dearly missed.
