Vivian Marie (Moore) Wootan

Vivian Marie Wootan, 66, of Lubbock passed away at her home in Lubbock, TX on Monday, October 28, 2019. She was born September 11, 1953 to Jake and Wila Nelson Moore in Knox City, TX.

Vivian married the love of her life Joe Wootan of Lubbock, TX, August 15, 1974 in Lubbock, TX. Vivian loved being a wife and mother and loved her family dearly. She was extremely fond of her nickname “WeWe” giving to her by all her children. She enjoyed gardening in her spare time.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Wootan; her son Joe Ray Wootan of Lubbock; her daughter Willa Parker and husband Johnny of Lubbock; her sister Carol Moore of Lubbock; two brothers Marvin Moore and Marshall Nelson of Lubbock and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nephews and nieces.

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter Peggy Sue Wootan.

The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern and kindness shown to them during their hour of bereavement.
