Alayna Lee Sanders

Alayna Sanders (44) of Spur, TX gained her angel wings suddenly on June 5, 2022. Alayna was a loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Daughter, Aunt and Friend to many of us. Alayna will be deeply missed. Alayna was born on September 3, 1977 to Jackie and Terry Peavler in Houston, TX, later Jackie, Alayna and her siblings moved to West Texas.

 Alayna was a person that loved coloring, and listening to old country music. Alayna graduated from Crosbyton High School in 1996. Alayna and Kyle Hulme married on St. Patrick’s Day. then they had 1 amazing son, Steven Hulme. Later on, down the line Alayna meet the Man of her dreams (as she told everyone) Justin Sanders July 2016 in Lubbock, TX. On January 8th 2017 Justin and Alayna became Husband and Wife. Alayna Loved Going to all of Stevens School Functions and spending time with her family. As well as Cheering on her football teams Texas Tech and Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes.

Alayna was preceded in death by Jackie Williams (Mother), Royce Thomason (Step Father).

She is survived by Justin Sanders(husband), Steven Hulme (Son), Terry and Dena Peavler (Father & Step Mother), Doris Wesley Thomason and his wife Jenny Thomason, David Thomason and his fiancé Ashley Grady, Megan Najera and husband Fabian Najera, Meredith Barrett and husband Jonathan Barrett and Amanda Thomason. Alayna also leaves behind 5 nieces Angelica Bautista, Charlee and Jae Thomason and Shyanne Grady as well as Kiera Thomason. She has also left behind 8 Nephews Adrian and Alex Najera, Hudson Barrett, Justin & Leland Grady as well as Noah, Dakota and Jeremy Whitcomb.

The Family asks that any flowers or Donations be sent to Zapata Funeral Home in Spur, TX.  Spur, TX is where most of her family and friends live and where she called home. The family asks that you pray for all the people that knew Alayna as they grieve and try to heal from this loss.
