Angela " Angie" Janell Burns

Angela was born on January 16, 1962 to Hugh Driggs (Jiggs) and Nellie Mae Burns in Paducah, Texas. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse and worked in that profession until her death. Angie had a love for helping disabled children. Family was first to Angie and she loved her family with all her heart. Being a mother and grandmother was her pride and joy. Angie would be described by most as sweet and compassionate as they come. She touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all her friends and family. 

Survivors include sons Matthew Dozier, grandson Matthew Blake Dozier and family Billie and Christopher Adams of Lubbock, and Hayden Palacios of Wichita Falls. Grandchildren, McKenzie Clardy of Amarillo, Madison Flemons of Lubbock, Kason and Kaslei Gonzales of Elk City, Oklahoma; and her dog Weenie who was like a child to Angie. Brothers Kenneth Burns, Johnny Burns and Brian Burns( Jennifer), Sisters Shirley (Dale) Martin, Kathy Stinson, and Penny Burns. Along with many nieces and nephews. 

Angela was preceded in death by her parents, son Stephen Ferguson, daughter Stephanie Hobbs, granddaughter Stephanie Dozier, brothers Richard Burns and Bobby Burns.
