Angelica Morales Obituary

Angelica "Helly” Noel Morales died unexpectedly in Roaring Springs Tx on June 24th at the age of 24.

Helly was born on December 25th 1997 in Lubbock Tx to Antonia and Javier Morales. She grew up as a child in Lubbock and Jayton Tx.  The family moved to Roaring Springs Tx in 2011 where she began attending Patton Springs School. She graduated from Patton Springs in 2016 where she was also homecoming queen her senior year.  In 2017 she put everything on hold to join Live On internship.  Over the next two years she would develop a strong faith and a very intentional relationship with the Lord.  As she stepped into life she connected with her future husband Dustin Winebrinner.  On March 7 2020 they started dating and began actively planning their future together.

Helly is survived by her parents Antonia and Javier Morales, Fiancé Dustin Winebrinner, Sister Christina Sumner and her husband Anthony Sumner of Roaring Springs, Brother Javier Morales Jr and wife Leighan Morales of Sunray Tx, Brother Frankie Morales of Roaring Springs Tx, Nieces Liz and Jalyn Sumner, Taylor and Janie Morales, Nephews Waylon Sumner and Julian Morales.

She is preceded in death by Infant sister Elizabeth Morales,  Maternal Grandparents Tony and Nora Casillas and Paternal Grandparents Feliciano and Janie Morales.

Helly was accomplished at writing and often wrote spoken words as she would gain revelation or insight from the Lord.  She mastered the art of friendship by living a selfless life and constantly putting others' needs before her own.  She loved to travel and that mainly included going to see Dustin’s family in Arkansas or a last minute road trip.  Her faith and fight for her family was extreme and undeniable.  She always went above and beyond to take care of them.  Her contagious laughter, practical jokes, and spontaneous mindset kept a smile on everyone’s face and laughs in the room. She would love to walk the dogs during sunset just to take advantage of the beautiful view.  She was a very active member at Springs of Life church where she impacted so many lives from the youngest to the oldest.

A viewing/visitation is scheduled for Thursday June 30th in the evening from 6:00 - 8:00 PM

A funeral is scheduled for July 1st at 10:00 am with a reception and lunch to follow at Full Gospel Church in Roaring Springs.  Russell Chandler and John Murdoch will officiate the ceremony under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home.
