Arthor Hemphill

Arthor Hemphill, 59, of Paducah, TX passed away July 14, 2020. Arthor was born to Jessie Lee Hemphill and Shirley Ainsworth on January 20, 1961.

Arthor  worked for the Paducah Housing Authority for many years as the head maintenance  man. He was a huge Dallas Cowboy’s fan. He enjoyed watching wrestling, lifting weights and exercising but what brought him the most joy was his children and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Joyce Hemphill, children; Kayla Vaughn of Paducah, TX, Dexter Hurst (Gracie) of Paducah, TX, Audrey Hemphill of Paducah, TX and Nathaniel Hurst of Wichita Falls, TX , sisters; Jessie Brown (Joe) of Paducah, TX ,Georgia Guy (Ronald) of Abilene, TX, Louise Smart of Dallas, TX, Rita Botello ( Sammy )of Paducah, TX and Connie Hemphill of Colorado City, TX, brother, Freddie Hemphill (Shon) of Dallas, TX, and Eleven grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Monday July 20, 2020 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Paducah, TX with Jody Brown officiating under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home.

Arthor’s family welcomes all who would like to attend the service, but for everyone’s health and safety, asks that social distancing be practiced. Non-immediate family please remain in your vehicles or near them. The family thanks you for your support and understanding.
