Obituary

Balassa Arriaga Mata of Turpin, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on March 4, 2023 in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 64. Balassa was born February 3,1959 in Paducah, TX to Benigno and Mary Mata.

Balassa enjoyed shopping for her wardrobe every week. She loved to match her shoes and outfits. She loved to travel with her husband Augustine. She was a very social person with her family. Talking on the phone with her son Oscar, spending time with her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her Parents Benigno and Maria Mata, her two brothers Ruben Fuentez, Jimmy Mata. One nephew Robert Ramirez Jr.

Balassa is survived by her children Mary Gomez (Guillermo) of Naples. Florida, Oscar Arriaga (Edith) of Turpin, Oklahoma, Victor Arriaga of Garden City, Kansas and Cristina Terry of Casper, Wyoming.13 grandkids Guillermo Jr Gomez, Eduardo, and Gabino Gomez, Lesly Arriaga, Alex, Ruby Oscar lll, Adrian Arriaga, Santiago, Angelina, Gloria, Jaxsen and Laila Terry and 3 great grandchildren.

Her sibling’s Raymond Fuentez, Rebecca Fuentez, Ana Sierra, Josie Duran , Romando Mata, Benny Mata Jr, Sara Zamora , and Connie Cardoso.
