Barbara Alexander, 71
Barbara Alexander, 71, went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2020, with family by her side in Matador, Texas.
At her request, no funeral will take place. A memorial service will take place at a later date and time.
Barbara was born on September 1, 1949 in Pampa, Texas, to Joseph and Georgia Scott. Barbara has spent the last 40 years married to Johnny Alexander. They enjoyed camping, fishing, working in her garden and sitting at the park feeding the birds. They both have a love for their dogs and cats.
Barbara spent much of her time working in her garden. She will be remembered by many for teaching them to drive, play Farkle and her love of gardening. Barbara loved all people and was loved by so many.
Barbara is survived by her Husband, Johnny Alexander of Matador, Texas; her sister, Judy French of Amarillo, Texas; step-daughters – Amy Caspari of Wichita, Kansas, April Alexander (Rick) of Wichita, Kansas, Angie Alexander (Michael) of Amarillo, Texas; step-son, Andy Alexander (Jenn) of Derby, Kansas; Niece, Chelsey Haney (Devin) of Amarillo, Texas; Nephew, Joseph Scott (Leah) of Fort Collins, CO; Sister In-Laws, Anette Brittain of Clarendon, Texas, Raenelle (Joe) Shadle of Clarendon, Texas and Syd Alexander of Claude, Texas and Barbara Hill of Claude, Texas; and slew of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Georgia, Scott; her brother, Rusty Scott; brother in-laws, Ricky Alexander and Donnie Brittain and her beloved son, Ronald (R.J) Withrow.
