Bennie Seigler Mitchell died peacefully in Matador, TX at the age of 89.
Bennie is survived by her husband Wayburn (Pug), of Paducah, TX, sons Roger Mitchell of Vancouver, WA and David Randell Mitchell of Caddo Mills, TX, four grand children, two great grand children and many nieces and nephews. Bennie was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Bobby and Charles Seigler and Linda (BV) Armstrong.
Bennie was born on March 6, 1934 in Joy, TX to Clyde and Almeta Seigler. She graduated from Paducah High School in 1952. She married Pug on June 27,1951. Bennie and Pug lived in several towns in Texas and also spent 20 years in Ely, NV. Bennie always loved making new friends and taking care of her family. She and Pug had a 72 year marriage and were always devoted to each other. Bennie loved the mountains of Nevada but always considered Texas her true home. Bennie loved working with flowers and was employed as a florist and a social services coordinator at a nursing home where she got to employ her people skills and friendly, helpful personality.
