Beverly Corrine (Pyles) Defoor

Beverly Corrine Pyles Defoor died Thursday, July 18, 2019 in Lubbock Texas. She was 83 years old, born July 9, 1936 to Frank Pyles and Lura Hammonds Pyles.

On February 3, 1956 she married Adrian Ray Defoor who preceded her in death January 18, 1994.

Beverly was a member of Missionary Baptist Church for 30 years, where she was known for her work in the kitchen, her lemon pies, chocolate chip cookies, and a quick sense of humor that kept everyone laughing.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, George Pyles, sister-in-law Helen Pyles, niece Jo Anne Pyles, and brother-in-law James Carroll.

She is survived by her son, James Robert Defoor of Quanah, her sister, Margaret Carroll of Muleshoe, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services to be held July 23, 2019 at 10am in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Paducah, TX.
