Bobby Lee Greer died peacefully in UMC on October 11th 2021 in Lubbock, Tx at the age of 80.
Bobby was born on September 21, 1941, in Spur, TX to Robert and Pauline Greer. He graduated from Spur ISD in 1960 with a high school diploma. He married Lucie Morales in 1978. After moving back to Spur, TX from his Air Force retirement, he began working as an Electrician and created his own company. In their years of marriage, the couple welcomed 2 children into their home, Robert, and Jamie Greer. His children remember him as the best example of what a father should be. He taught undeniable faith, wisdom, and the love of Jesus. He always encouraged them to pursue their dreams and to do the right thing always.
Bobby is survived by sister and brother: Shirly Greer of Plano, TX & Jerry Greer of Jayton, TX; his wife Lucie Greer of Spur, TX, children, Robert Greer (Amanda) of Lubbock, TX, Jamie Greer Wilsher (Wade) of Boys Ranch, TX, & Felix Ramirez (Sophie) of Alexandria, LA.
He is preceded in death by daughter Velvet Bryant, Father Robert Amzy Greer & Mother Pauline Sims.
Bobby was accomplished at refrigeration and electrician and road his motorcycle over 2 million miles in his lifetime. He served two tours in The Vietnam War and was a generous, wise, dedicated individual who loved travel and was passionate about riding his motorcycle. He loved his family beyond comprehendible words and dedicated 20 years of his life to the US Air Force.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for October 30th, 2021, at 1:00pm at Red Mud Cemetery. Wade Wilsher will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bobby's life.
