Christy Lynn (Mettert) Hendricks

Christy Lynn Hendricks of Spur, TX went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 5, 2021, at the age of 72. She was born on August 21, 1949, in Glendale, California to Norman Lee and Geraldine Mettert. After graduating high school, she married the love of her life Kenneth Hendricks. They were married on February 28,1972 in Glendale, California. After they were married, they relocated to Spur, TX where they remained until their passing.

Christy worked as a healthcare provider for many years. Christy was a member of the Lakeside Baptist Church in Spur, TX until her health declined. She attended church every Sunday and enjoyed reading her bible. Christy loved her pet cat named Bandit. She loved her Search and Find puzzle books.

Those left to cherish her memory are her friend Zelda Yvonne Miller and other friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth and her parents, Norman Lee and Geraldine. She is survived by her cat Bandit.
