Claradine Amyx Obituary

Claradine LeSueur Amyx, born December 19, 1914 in Austin, Texas died April 17, 2018 in Jayton, Texas, age 103. She grew up in Chihuahua, Mexico with missionary parents, David and Allie LeSueur.
Claradine was a graduate of Hardin Simmons University with a degree in Spanish and French. She married Glenn B. Amyx November 6, 1936. They had 8 children, 19 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 11 great-greats, and one on the way. She is survived by 6 children, daughter Glenna Young of Boerne, TX; daughter Martha Jo Wright and husband Russell of Ft. Worth, TX; son Frank B. Amyx and wife Jenny of Rockdale, TX; son Charles Amyx and wife Sherry of Garland, TX; daughter Cherry Williams of Jayton, TX; and son Richard Amyx and wife A'Laina of Arlington; as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Glenn B. Amyx, daughters Mary Ann Grage and Charlene Kuhaupt, and great grandson Nathan K. Brendle.

Memorial Service will be held April 28 at 2 pm at River Oaks United Methodist Church in Fort Worth, TX.
