Clarence Lee Poteet, 61, of Amarillo, Texas, formerly of Paducah, Texas, passed away August 20, 2020 in Lubbock, Texas. He was born in Paducah to John and Dorothy Poteet on September 27, 1958. He attended school at Paducah and worked for J.B.S. Meat Packing plant in Cactus, Texas. Clarence was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was married to his loving wife Lisa Poteet for six years.
Clarence is survived by his wife Lisa of Amarillo, TX; his sons Clarence Thomas of Lubbock, TX, Jason Poteet of Post, TX, Cliff Poteet of Amarillo, TX, Dontae Lamar Flemons of Childress, TX; his sisters Nellie McGuire of Lubbock, TX, Betty Poteet of Paducah, TX, Thelma Mathis of Childress, TX, and Dorothy Poteet of Amarillo, TX; and a host of other family members and friends.
Clarence is preceded in death by his parents John and Dorothy Poteet.
