Connie Ray Bearden

Connie Ray Bearden of Austin, TX passed away peacefully on November 17, 2022 at the age of 71. He was born December 9, 1950 in Matador, TX. to Omar Junior and Betty Jean Bearden. Connie attended school in Floydada, TX, later attended Texas Tech University, and received his bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University. He was employed with Republic Insurance Group as an insurance agent.  Connie enjoyed spending his time playing golf and fishing. He loved watching Texas Longhorn football and listening to live country music.

Connie is survived by his sons Christopher Bearden of Chesapeake, Virginia and Blake Bearden of Round Rock, Texas; his siblings Kerry and Renee Bearden of Crowell, TX , Cindy Bearden of Matador, TX, Jerry and Becky Bearden of Somerville, Alabama, Max Bearden of Lubbock, TX, Penny Bearden of Lubbock, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Betty and Omar Bearden.
