Eliacian "Emilio" Gutierrez

Eliacin “Emilio” Gutierrez, 65, of Paducah, TX entered heaven’s gates on Saturday November 28, 2020 in Paducah, TX.

Emilio, as all his friends knew him as, was born in Pacula Hidalgo, Mexico on April 4, 1955 to Felipe and Maria Gutierrez. Emilio moved to the United States at the age of 15. A couple of years later in 1976 he made Paducah, TX his home. He soon met Annie Jane and they married on January 16, 1978 in Paducah, TX. They were blessed to have three children and loved their family.

Emilio was hard working; he worked for over 20 years farming and ranching and loved every bit of it. Among the things he loved were dancing, cooking bar-b-que, building things from horseshoes, telling jokes and most of all, spending time with his family.

Emilio was a man who knew, no stranger and all were welcome in his home. He had the biggest heart and if you ever had the pleasure to meet him you felt the love and giving spirit he possessed.

Emilio was preceded in death by his wife, parents, sister, Noemi Gutierrez and brother, Isais Gutierrez Andrade.

Those left to cherish his memory, sons; Ralph Gutierrez of Amarillo, TX, Hector Gutierrez of Amarillo, TX, daughter, Glenda Gutierrez of Glenn Heights, TX, sister, Ofelia Hernandez of Mexico, three brothers; Moises Gutierrez Andrade of Mexico, Abraham Gutierrez Andrade of Mexico and Rigoberto Gutierrez Andrade of Corsicana, TX.

Graveside services will be held 2pm Thursday December 3, 2020 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Paducah, TX with Father Cruz officiating under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home.

A visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Wednesday December 2, 2020 at Zapata Funeral Home, Paducah, TX.
