Elmer Lee Parks, 88, of Roaring Springs, TX entered heaven’s gates on Tuesday November 17, 2020 in Lubbock, TX

Elmer was born in Paducah, TX on September 7, 1932 to Omar and Era Parks. Elmer attended high school in Roaring Springs, TX. Later in life he married Betty Sue on June 6, 1990 in Roaring Springs, TX. They made their life in Roaring Springs, TX and he enjoyed family, farming, ranching and welding.

Elmer was preceded in death by his wife and parents.

Those left to cherish his memory, step-sons; Terry Miller of Roaring Springs, TX, Mark Miller (Barbara) of Hemphill, TX, Tom Miller (Sharla) of Tulia, TX, sisters; Linda Hess (Steve) of Matador, TX, Dorothy Lefevre (Bruce) of Roaring Springs, TX, brother, Harold Parks (Barbara) of Roaring Springs, TX, Nine grandchildren, several nephews, nieces and friends.

Pastor Bob Kilmer will be officiating a Graveside service on Friday November 20, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Roaring Springs Cemetery under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Roaring Springs Cemetery Association.
