Eugene "Mac" Weldon McDonald

Eugene Weldon McDonald Jr (Mac) 75, of Girard TX, passed away at his residence Tuesday, August 24, 2021. Graveside services will be at The Girard Cemetery Saturday, August 28 at 11 a.m.

 Mac was born on August 5 1946, in San Diego CA to E.W. Sr.  and Frances McDonald. Mac worked at Kent Co. Nursing Home in Jayton TX for 10 years before retiring. Mac would always give a helping hand wherever it was needed. He also loved to BBQ and enjoyed his garden and family time.

Mac is survived by his wife Brenda McDonald of Girard TX, Children; John and Colbi of Jayton TX, Meagan McDonald of Sweetwater TX, Amanda McDonald and Kelvin Williams of Roscoe TX, Tra and Amy Gibson of Gulfport MS, Michelle Rene of Borger TX, Justin and Toni Gibson of Jayton TX, Heath and Brandi Gibson of EIK Hart KS, Mac also has 20 grandchildren, Rocky, Brian, Gabriel, Jeremy, Michael, Nikki, Mariah, Emaleigh, Sydney, Brandon, Mackenzie, Kennedy, Tratyn, Cayden, Claire, Creedence, Kobe, Hailey, Kord and Braxton. He also has 11 great grandchildren, Grayson, Allie, Rowdy, Colt, Jace, River, Anyston, Rayeson, Landyn, Aiden and Austin. He was preceded in death by his parents; E.W. and Frances McDonald, His sister Maggie McDonald, a son Michael McDonald, as well as other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will include; Michael, Kobe, Cayden, Rocky, Brian, Gabriel, Jeremy, Brandon.

Honorary pallbearers will include; Creedence, Kord, Braxton, and Grayson.

Eugene's family welcomes all who would like to attend the service, but for everyone’s health and safety, asks that all COVID-19 safety measures be practiced.  The family thanks you for your support and understanding.
