Obituary

Floyd Clinton Edenfield, 62, of Dickens, TX passed away on May 24, 2023, in Crosbyton, TX.

Floyd was born in Savannah, GA to Jerry Clinton and Betty Jean Edenfield on December 8, 1960. Floyd lived life to the fullest in every way and never met a stranger. His family meant the world to him. He married Patricia Gannon on April 12, 1992, in Lubbock, TX. He loved gardening, cooking, westerns, and his dogs. He was always willing to step up and help anyone in need. He lived by one of his favorite movie’s quotes,” Don’t be afraid to go after what you want to do, and what you want to be. But don’t be afraid to be willing to pay the price.” 8 Seconds-Lane Frost. And as Floyd always said, “Cowboy Up!”

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory wife Patricia Edenfield of Dickens, TX, Sons; Cody Edenfield (Mandy) of Whitehouse, TX, Josh Edenfield (Maria) of Merkel TX, Blake Edenfield (Andrea) of Chandler, TX, Quinton Gass (Ronnie) of Garden City, TX, daughter Stormy Boyd (Steven) of Kerville, TX, 11 grandchildren and many friends.

Cremation arrangements were made under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home.
