Guadalupe A Quintero went to her heavenly home February 15, 2020 at Childress Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
She was born May 18 1943 to Pedro and Eloisa Anguiano in Floresville TX. She married Vicinte Quintero Sept 4 1970 in Childress TX and together they have 9 beautiful children. Clifford James of Vernon TX, Ruby Quintero with Michael Branch of Crowell TX, Indiana and husband Charles Packard of Paris TX, Martin and wife Joy Quintero of Paducah TX, Vicinte Jr and wife Shirley Quintero of Paris TX, Reno and wife Briana Quintero and Paducah TX, Melissa Quintero of Childress TX, Joanie and husband William Howard of Paducah TX and Heidi Quintero with Hunter Henry of Childress TX. And awaiting his mother’s arrival was Anthony Quintero.
Mrs. Quintero was a cook for a very long time. She was very well known for her homemade loaf bread, cinnamon rolls and donuts but most of all her Texas Burgers. Her favorite meals to cook were those that she prepared for family when they came over.
Mrs. Quintero had one thing that she loved more than anything and that was spending time with her sister Mary Mata. They could see each other every day and never run out of conversation. They called each other daily and made sure one another were ok.
Mrs. Quintero was preceded in death by several other family members who have already gone before her to prepare her home.
Mrs. Quintero was blessed with many siblings that she loved dearly and she was blessed to see much right before her departing. She was blessed with many grandkids and many great-grands that she loved.
The family will accept visitors Tuesday at Zapata Funeral Home in Paducah and services will be Wednesday at 2 at First Christian Church in Paducah TX. Officiating services will be Brother Jr Limas.
