J Don Finch

J Don Finch, 83, of Matador passed away on February 14, 2020 in Matador, TX.

J Don was born in Paducah, TX to Floyd and Lena Finch on September 3, 1936.  He attended Paducah High School and graduated in 1955. He married Frances Lancaster on December 1, 1957. Frances passed in 2002. In 2005, J Don married Debra. He worked as a Cowboy and Ranching all his life.

J Don is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Frances Finch.

J Don is survived by his wife Debra, Son; Kenneth Finch of Paducah, TX, daughter; Rebeca Smith (Bucky) of Paducah, TX, brother; Dolan Finch of Electra, TX and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, February 16, 2020 from 2pm to 4pm at Zapata Funeral Home in Matador, TX.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, February 17, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Matador, with Pastor Chad Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at Cee Vee Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers Memorials may be given to Cee Vee Cemetery and Interim Hospice of Lubbock.
