He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and JoAnn Harrison, one sister, Judy Mercer, and father-in-Law, Charles Carr.
Jimbo graduated from Paducah High School, class of 1983. He was employed by Arvis Davis Chevrolet for many years. He loved being a mechanic and working on cars. He also loved the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys. Watching football and cooking Sunday dinner with his family was his favorite thing. He was the type of man to help anybody in need, just out of the goodness of his heart. Jimbo was saved after a dream of Jesus on a fishing boat, and he was one of the people Jesus reeled in. Jimbo was not just a Dad to his two boys, he had seven other young men that considered him a Dad. They will all tell you that he never raised his voice when they would do foolish things, like shooting a hole in the floor of a pickup, or shooting antenna off of a pickup and getting stuck at 1:00am, burning the seat of the pickup with a spot light.
Jimbo loved life but most of all he loved his family. He will be missed.
