Jasper Lynn McAnally

Jasper Lynn McAnally, 82, of Matador, TX passed away December 22, 2023, in Matador, TX.

Jasper was born on August 21, 1941, to Lester and Lois McAnally in Spur, TX. He attended and graduated from Pecos High School in 1959. He later met and married Lynette Myers on May 3rd, 1997, in Reno, NV. Jasper later moved to Vallejo, California and worked as a chief engineer in San Quentin, CA. Jasper enjoyed working on cars, his house, but most of all he loved his great-grandchildren Dominick and Madison Maldondo.

Jasper is survived by his wife, Lynnette McAnally of Matador, TX, stepchildren; Paul McCoy and Kristy Slankard, sisters; Lanell De Jesus (Tony) of California, Lana Burnette (Ralph) of California, nieces; Teri Heartwig (Jamie) of Neveda, Gloria Smyer of Brownfield, TX, nephew, Justin Burnette of California, three  grandchildren; Carlos Maldonado, Krissy and Kevin McCoy, and a host of family and friends.

Jasper is preceded in death by his parents; Lester and Lois, sister Patsy Fulford and nephew Keith Baker.
