Jeannie Moore joined the angels in heaven on Tuesday October 20, 2020 at the age of 69.  Funeral Graveside services will be held Saturday October 24, 2020 at Spur Memorial Cemetery at 2PM with Kermit Woolley officiating under the direction or Zapata Funeral Home.

Jeannie was born September 20, 1951 in Crosbyton, TX.  Jeannie was a graduate of Spur High School class of 1970 and went on to Graduate with her Bachelor of Science in education at Texas Tech University in 1974.   She touched the lives of many students during her teaching career at Spur and Crosbyton school districts. After many years of teaching she began her career at Spur Security Bank and later retired to enjoy life with her family and friends.  She also enjoyed gardening and spending time working in the yard.

She is preceded in death by her parents Delwin and Jean Moore, her brother Bug Moore all of Spur, TX.  She is survived by her sister in law Sharon Moore, Her nephews and nieces:  Misti Moore of Lubbock, Cody and wife Courtnie Moore of Abernathy, A.J. Moore of Spur, and Michelle and husband Chance Cupp of Spur.  Jeannie also left behind several great nieces and nephews, cousins, and many loving friends.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
