Juanita Villalovos

Juanita Villalovos, 90, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on August 18, 2023.

Juanita was born on August 27th, 1932, in Port Lavaca, Texas. She married the love of her life Jesus Villalovos on April 19th, 1953, and moved to Detroit to start a family. She attended Saint Joseph Catholic Church. When she wasn't spending time with her family, she enjoyed spending time outside gardening and taking care of her yard.

She is survived by two sons, Arturo Villalovos of Detroit, MI and Manuel Villalovos, Amarillo, TX; and daughter, Faye Scalise and her husband John Scalise, Amarillo, TX; grandchildren Rachel Carter and husband Brian Carter, Jessica Griffin and Chad Nevarez; and great- grandchildren Kyrie Griffin, Cali Griffin and Ava Carter.

A Viewing will be held at Zapata Funeral Home, 602 Burlington Ave, Spur, TX 79370 from 5pm-7pm on Sunday. August 20, 2023.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spur, Texas on Monday August 21, 2023, at 10a.m. under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home.
