June Barton Keltz Levell was born June 5, 1926 to Charlie and Madeline Barton in Matador TX. She went to be with Jesus Saturday April 3, 2021. She attended the Barton School, graduated from Matador High School in 1943 and attended Texas Tech University.
On May 25, 1946. June married Bennie Keltz where they farmed many years in the White flat community. To this union three sons were born. After Bennie's death April 16, 1997 June married Stanley Dan Levell of North Richland Hills on Nov. 2, 2004.
She was a member of the Roaring Springs Full Gospel Church where she taught Sunday School and served as a Deaconess. She was the first president and charter member of the "Eternas study Club" and taught art to many children as well as adults. Her love for art was evident throughout her art shop and gallery called “The Windmill."
June wrote a religious column in the Motley County Tribune. She was involved in Lay Witness Missions and “Cleansing Stream" ministries of Trinity Church in Lubbock.
Dear to her heart was one Brother C.M. Barton Jr. who preceded her in death. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Larry and Sandy of Plainview, Terry and Toni of Brady, Kelly and Pennie of Roaring Springs, seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren brought life and laughter to June's life.
