Kathy Ann (Mackey) Scott

Kathy Ann (Mackey) Scott, 63, of Lubbock, Texas passed away on May 3, 2022. Kathy was born on January 12, 1959 in Lubbock, Texas to the parentage of Elbert Mackey and Annie Martin. She was later raised by Archie and Annie White. Kathy attended and graduated from Lubbock Public Schools. Kathy joined First Progressive Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Deshun Avery. She worked for Durham Transportation for many years as a school bus driver and Milam Children Center until her health declined.

She was preceded in death by her father Elbert Mackey, her husband Billy Joe Scott, and two brothers Archie White, Jr. and Ray Dell Martin. Stepfather Archie White Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memories her mother Annie White;  step mother Johnnie Mae Mackey of Midland, TX;  two daughters Auqua Mackey of Killeen, TX and Nicole Stewart of Lubbock, TX; two sons Talian ”TAZ” Mackey (Tonya) of San Antonio, TX and Tyrone Scott (Destinee) of Lubbock, TX; two sisters Sarah Glynn of Lubbock, TX and Glenda Tatum ( Ronald) of Lubbock, TX; eight brothers Elvin Mackey of Midland, TX, Johnny Mackey of Midland, TX, Eugene Mackey (Tiffany) of Plainview, TX, Derrick White of Lubbock, TX, Kelvin White of Dallas ,TX, Mercail White of San Antonio, TX, and Johnny White of Houston, TX; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
