Laura Jo (Reynolds) Dozier

Cherished and remembered for her strong faith in Christ as well as a devout caregiver to her family. Laura Jo Dozier was born on June 5, 1939 to Theo and Fannie Reynolds in Centerville, Texas. On November 18, 2023, Laura passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus.

The oldest of six, Laura moved to Paducah as a little girl. She married Virgil Dozier in 1954 and the two made Paducah their home for over 70 years - proudly building a family of three children, six grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. All of whom were blessed with Laura's doting acts of love.

As a true caregiver, Laura worked at the Paducah Nursing home for many years before changing her career. She then worked as a bookeeper for Afton Williamham, Gary Lancaster and King-Cottle Water.

Laura was an active member of the Assembly of God Church devoting her time and energy as church secretary for many years.

Laura is proceeded in death by her mother and father, her sister Connie, and her loving husband Virgil Dozier.

Loving mother of Larry Dozier, Gaylon & Shaunah Dozier, and Stacy & Chris Rekieta.

Proud grandmother to Tonya Dodson, Steven Dozier, Megan Inman, Matt Dozier, Chasen Smith, Skylar Kindle, and 12 great-grandchildren.
