Margarita (Rivera) Gonzalez, 88, of Paducah, TX, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 in Childress, TX.

Margarita was born June 10, 1932 in Weslaco, TX to Alberto Rivera and Rita Deleon.

Margarita took great pride in being a housewife and mother. She loved to shop and most of all loved spending time with her family and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband Pablo Gonzalez, Parents, brother; Alberto Rivera, sisters; Natalia Rivera, Juana Rivera, Ambrosio Rivera, Faustina Rubio, Anita Rivera and Paula Trevino, and daughter -in-law, Frances Gonzalez.

Those left to cherish her memory, sons; Pablo Gonzalez Jr. (Luisa) of Billings, Montana, Juan Gonzalez (Bacilisa) of Childress, TX, Raul Gonzalez (Carla) of Kentucky, Armando Gonzalez ( Mary) of Paducah, TX, Jose Gonzalez of Pueblo, CO, Alberto Gonzalez (Victoria) of Altus, OK, and Ruben Gonzalez (Rosalinda “BeBe”) of Childress, TX, daughters; Maria Elena Muñoz ( Marcelino) of Vernon, TX, Margarita Muñoz (Robert) of Paducah, TX, Rita Dominguez (Chris) of Paducah, TX, brother; Jose Rivera, sister; Maria Rivera, 35 grandchildren,  numerous great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Graveside services for Margarita will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Paducah, TX with Father Cruz officiating under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home
