Maria Olivia Olivarez, lovingly known as “Lily,” passed peacefully surrounded by love. She was a gentle, caring, and God-fearing woman whose life was a true example of kindness and faith.
Lily was born to her loving parents, Mariana Carrasco Olivarez and Manuel H. Olivarez, both of whom preceded her in death. As the oldest of her siblings, she naturally carried a nurturing spirit. She was preceded in death by her brothers Manuel and Johnny. She is survived by her brother Raul and her sisters Olga and Terri.
She was a proud graduate of Spur High School and was loved by many throughout her school years. She carried those memories and friendships close to her heart.
Lily was blessed with two daughters, Rose Bilderback and Teresa Olivarez Hall, who were the pride and joy of her life. She also leaves behind six grandchildren: Steven, Savannah, Kristina, Michael, Aaron, and Jadon, along with fifteen great-grandchildren who brought her endless happiness.
She was the sweetest soul — always smiling, always thinking of others, and always ready to dance. Her love was gentle but strong. Her faith in God guided her life, and she showed that faith through compassion, forgiveness, and grace.
She will be remembered for her warm heart, her joyful dancing, and the way she made everyone feel loved. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing she is at peace, reunited with loved ones, and dancing in heaven.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
