Mary Lou (Denison) McKay

Mary Lou McKay, 88, passed away Tuesday September 24, 2019. She was born Mary Lou Denison, September 16, 1931, in Sanger, TX, Denton County.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack McKay; parents Fred & Mary (Owen) Denison. Brothers - Fred Jr., Tommy Dean, and James Wayman Denison. Sisters - Ruby Sullivan, Beulah Copeland, Marie Paul, Helen Rindal and her great grandson Drake Justus.
She was raised in a small farming community in Denton County. Her childhood was spent helping her mother in the kitchen and daddy in the fields.
She married Jack McKay May 6th, 1956, they moved to Dallas where they raised their family. They moved to Spur in 1977 where they owned an operated the Spur Super Market until 1991.
Mary Lou (Denison) McKay is survived by two daughters Sherry Lynn Hart of McKinney, Texas and Donna Elise Stewart of Spur, Texas. Four grand children; Joseph Hart, Brandy Price, Neely Justus and Carly Stewart. Five great grand children; Trevor McCloud, Brittany Tidwell, Jillian Hart, Piper and Parker Justus.
