Norman Murphy Obituary
Norman D. Murphy, 72, of Paducah, TX passed away on March 8, 2020 in Childress, TX. He was born to Romie and Della (McBride) Murphy in Memphis, TX on August 13, 1947.
Norman aka “Wild Horse” worked for the Pitchfork Ranch and in his later years was a painter by trade. He was a huge country music fan, loved playing guitar and riding horses.
Norman is survived by his sisters; Willie Matney of Paducah, TX and Ella Daniel of Lubbock, TX.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Monana Coble and Pauline Lambert, brothers; Darrel Murphy, R.J Murphy and Jerry Murphy.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday March 12, 2020 at Newlin Cemetery, Newlin, TX.
