Patsy Smith Obituary

Patsy Anderson Smith was born January 6, 1943, and graduated from Paducah High School in 1961. She married Donald Smith on June 8, 1961 and they had two children, Donald Todd Smith born June 1, 1962 and Jay Darryl Smith born on October 13, 1963. Patsy was a homemaker and mother and helped Donald farm and ranch until 1983. Patsy was the manager of the Dairy Queen in Paducah until 1988, when she took a job with the Paducah Housing Authority as a secretary. She continued in this job until 1998, when she became the administrator of the Paducah Housing Authority, a job which she continued until 2021.

Donald and Patsy will be remembered as loving devoted parents and grandparents by their children Donald Todd Smith and Jay Darryl Smith, grandchildren Amanda, Jason and Kirston, and Magen, Crystal and Nathan as well as 6 great grandchildren, by whom they are survived.
