Robert Lynn Smith

Robert Lynn Smith, of Paducah, TX passed from this life on April 17, 2022 in Childress, TX at the age of 84. Robert was born February 9, 1938 in Quanah, TX to Nathan and Mabel Warren. He married Linda on October 1, 1956 in Paducah, TX.

Robert, better known to his grandkids as “Papaw” was an individual who loved many things including: fishing, playing dominos, watching sports, gardening and hunting.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother Donald Smith.

Robert is survived by his wife Linda Smith, of Paducah, TX, children; Debra Daniel (Tim) of Childress, TX, Marty Smith (Abbie) of Paducah, TX and James Smith of Wolfforth, TX, sister, Donna Braley of Burlison, TX, eleven grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday April 20, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Paducah, TX with Kyle Roach officiating under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
