Obituary
Ronald L.” Ronnie” Rogers 81 of Flomot, TX passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023.
Ronnie was born in Kress, TX on May 12, 1942 to Howard and Glenna Rogers. The family later moved to Flomot, TX where he graduated from Flomot High School in 1960. After graduating high school, he attended Draughons Business College from 1961- 1964. He farmed, roughnecked, and drilled water wells until 1969 when he moved to Lubbock, TX to work as a construction superintendent for Rip Griffin for 43 years.
Ronnie loved God, his family, fixing things, and working on his backhoe. He was a huge fan of Bob Wills Music.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents Howard and Glenna Rogers and his youngest son Randy Rogers.
He is survived by his son Richard Rogers (Tina), grandson Jarrod Wall and his family, brother Donnie Rogers of Flomot, his sister Donna Degan of Lubbock, his wife Faye and her three sons Wesley Reed, Wayne Reed, Wendall Reed, granddaughter Kaylyn Rogers, numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
