Sandra Eileen (Powell) Wiley

Sandra Eileen “Sandy” Wiley, 63, of Floydada, TX passed away October 15, 2023, in Lubbock, TX.

Sandra was born on July 4, 1960, to Tillman and Doris Powell in Sherman, TX. Sandra attended and graduated from school in Floydada. Sandra met Donald “Cowboy” Wiley on July 15,1984 and were married for 39 years.

Sandra worked for Floydada ISD for many years in the cafeteria and later as a special ed teacher’s aide.

Sandra was a huge fan of Elvis Presley and Rick Springfield. She loved knitting, sewing, cooking for her family, especially baking and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Sandra is survived by her son, Chris (Bri), her daughter Angela Wiley, brothers Tommy Powell and Warren Powell and her Sister Donna Rushing.

Sandra is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Donald “Cowboy” Wiley, her parents Tillman, and Doris Powell.
