Terrence Wright Obituary

Terrence Jacolby Wright,30,of Paducah,TX passed away with his mother and sister by his side after an 18 year battle with Juvenile diabetes and kidney failure.

Terrence Jacolby Wright was born on July 30, 1993 in Amarillo, Texas. Terrence was a rainbow baby for Teresa, born after the loss of his brother Joshua Wright.

Terrence was a diehard Philadelphia Eagles, Oklahoma Sooners and Paducah Dragon fan. He despised the Dallas Cowboys and made sure all of his friends and family knew it. He was the Best uncle to his 2 nephews, Jakyen and Braylan, always giving them money and making them do errands for him. Watching them grow up, succeed in school and  participate in sports brought him lots of joy. He would be so fired up when he would read, hear and see all that they accomplished.

Terrence loved his sister, Shantera. He might have loved his Brother in law Darrin a little more. When your sister is 8 years older than you she tends to hover over and treat you like one of her kids. He finally had an ally in Darrin, someone in his corner to take up for him with his sister. He found joy in letting that be known. Terrence was definitely a mama's boy spoiled to the core. The love he had for his mama was undeniable. He always knew that she would always be there for him and love him through the good or bad. Terrence had so much love for his family and friends. He had many friends that he  recently made and many close friends from childhood that he stayed in contact with. He was very fond of his family and friends  and would do anything for them. They all held a very special place in his heart.

Terrence was preceded  in death by his brother Joshua Wright, Grandmother Frances Wright and 2 uncles Tracy and Sean Mathis.

He is survived by his mother, Teresa Wright, and his Sister Shantera (Husband) Darrin Jesse. 2 nephews Jakyen and Braylan Wright, and his dogs Odie & Paige,  all of Paducah, Texas. A host of Uncles, Aunts and cousins from near and far.

The family would like to express their gratitude to everyone who knew Terrence. You all hold a special place in our hearts. The Paducah EMS staff, Dialysis staff, Sharplines staff, a host of Hospital Doctors and nurses, his Aunt Maggie, and his Church Family. To include anyone else we might have overlooked. We are so thankful for you all.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
