Vera Ann (Murray) Havins

Vera Ann Havins went home to be with her Lord on October 19, 2021, at the age of 85.

She was born to Bill and Essie Murray on May 15, 1936. She was married to her high school Sweetheart, Charles Norman Havins on June 21, 1954. They had 3 children, Christy, Kerry and Brent.

Vera was a wonderful wife and mother and helped Charles on their farm as well as sewing for her children and a great cook. She attended and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Paducah for over 60 years and taught her children to love the Lord as well. 

Vera was preceded in death by parents, her husband Charles and son Brent. 

She is survived by her daughter Christy Chaney, Son in-law Doyle Chaney, son Kerry, daughter in-law Rhonda, 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, one sister, Billie Jean Tobias of Mesquite, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation is scheduled for Saturday October 23, 2021, prior to service from 11:00AM to 12:00PM at Zapata Funeral Home Chapel in Paducah, TX.

A graveside service is scheduled at 2:00PM on Saturday October 23, 2021, at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Paducah, TX , officiant is Kyle Roach, services are under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home.
