Vicinte F. Quintero passed in peace with his family by his side, August 28, 2021. He was born April 30, 1948, in Crowell, Texas to Martin and Petra Quintero. Vicinte married the love of his life Guadalupe Quintero on September 4, 1970, in Childress, Texas. Vicinte is a veteran of the United States Air Force and served our country from 1968 to 1975. Vicinte and his wife have ten children Clifford James, Ruby and Michael Branch, Indiana and Charles Packard, Martin and Joy Quintero, Vicinte Jr. and Shirley Quintero, Reno and Briana Quintero, Melissa and Jerry Finch, Joni and Willie Howard, Heidi Quintero, and Hunter Henry. He is also survived by several grandbabies and great grandbabies. He has several nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
Mr. Quintero had nine siblings, two of which have gone on to prepare a home before him, Lisa Packard and Raymond Quintero. Still with us today are Mary and Dexter Daniel, Martin and Ina Quintero, Mary Ann and Billy Noah, Ramiro and Susan Quintero, Glen and Denise Quintero, and Paul and Kim Quintero.
He is preceded in death by his wife Guadalupe Quintero, his son Anthony Quintero, his parents Martin and Petra Quintero, and his daughter-in-law Shirley Quintero.
Pallbearers are Charles Packard, Willie Howard, Jerry Finch, Coby Dobbins, Landry Packard, Cameron Howard, and serving as honorary pallbearer is Gabriel Quintero.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 1 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Zapata Funeral Home in Paducah. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 2 at 10:30 a.m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery with Leon Deutsch officiating.
