William "Bill" Eugene Mahorney

William “Bill” Mahorney, 83, of Paducah, TX passed away on January 28, 2022 in Paducah, TX. He was born on January 28, 1939 to the late John & Ruth Mahorney in Arizona. Bill married the love of his life Oma Lue Hammond on March 29, 1959 in Childress, TX.  Bill worked for Cottle County, Billy Kinney and for Paducah ISD taking care of the buses and any other vehicles for the school.

Bill is preceded in death by his wife Oma Lue, Brother Terry Wayne Mahorney and his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory are his Daughter, Vicki Rekieta and husband Billy of Paducah, TX, Son, Larry Mahorney  of Paducah, TX, Sister, Betty Pascal of Paducah, TX, Brother, Donald Mahorney of Childress, TX, three  grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many  nieces , nephews  and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday January 31, 2022 at the Garden of Memory Cemetery Paducah, TX with Fred Stice officiating under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home.
