Windol Frances (Barnes) Burks

Windol was born on May 21,1923 to G.S. and Mattie Barnes in Navarro County, TX. She attended school in Cottle County.  She married the love of her life, Delbert H Burks, on March 14,1942 in Paducah, where they raised two daughters, June and Janis.

Windol had various of jobs. Some of the jobs were working for Circle J’s western wear, the senior citizens meals on wheel and the hardware store. She was an active member of the Church of Christ of Paducah. She loved the church and people in it.  She loved helping everyone that she can help. She also loved cooking for everyone.

Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, June Bauler (Jerry) of Lubbock, TX and Janis Foraker (Lonnie) of Shallowater, TX. (6) grandchildren Terri Warren (Steve) of Lubbock, TX, Brad Bauler (Gina) of Lubbock, TX, Marcus Bauler ( Robin) of Lubbock, TX Justin Foraker ( Sarah) of Lubbock, TX , Lezlea Foraker of Lubbock, TX and Amy Matthews ( Will) of Denton, TX.  (12) great-grandchildren Brittney Meuse (Jordan) of Lubbock ,Tx ,Cameron Warren (Brook) of Lubbock, TX, Nicole Warren of Lubbock, TX , Kennedy Bauler of Houston, TX ,Grant Bauler of Lubbock, TX , Ashley Bauler of Lubbock, TX , Brandon Bauler of Lubbock, TX , Tyler Foraker of Lubbock, TX , Layla Foraker of Lubbock, TX , Tristen Foraker of Lubbock, TX , Faith Foraker of Lubbock, TX, and Jack Matthews of Denton, TX.  (1) great great grandchild Cason Warren of Lubbock, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents G. S. & Mattie Barnes, husband Delbert H. and siblings; Silbert, Keith, Kenny, Neulyn, Shirley, Tommy, Charlie, Marquita Lindsey, Viola Woodward and Betty Canon.
