Ben Zapata was born in San Angelo, Texas and was raised in Miles,Tx. Home of the fighting Bulldogs. He worked as a correctional
officer for the Texas Department of Corrections for 10 years.
Ben graduated from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in May of 2000. He has worked as a Funeral Director in West Texas since graduation. He has been in Lamesa, Texas for 8 years. While there in Lamesa he has been in valued in the Kiwanis Club where he has been Vice President for the last few months. He has also been in valued in ittle league sports. Serving as coach for the Little League Baseball and Basketball. Ben has served on the board for the Lamesa Little League Assocation.
Keemy Mackey
Funeral Director
Keemydrick was born and raised in Lubbock,Tx. He is a 2009 graduate of Estacado High School. After High school,he enrolled at South Plains College in Levelland,Tx to pursue in career in music, but God had other plans. In 2012 he entered to the funeral Industry. He graduated from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston,Tx on December 16th,2016. He joined the Zapata Funeral Home Family as an Funeral Director on January 1st.2020. He is member of the panhandle funeral directors board. He is a licensed and Ordained preacher.
